As its the start of the christmas party season, it's only fitting that we talk sequins, glitter and anything that remotely sparkles. Christmas and NYE parties offer the perfect opportunity for the brave hearted to wear head to toe sequins and for the slightly more reserved to inject some glitter through their accessories. We've put together some of our favourite sequinned pieces from our go - to online stores, each item embracing the sequin trend in a different way. Whether you want to stand out in a statement, turquoise, sequinned bomber jacket or give the trend a subtle nod with a colourfully decorated clutch bag, it is completely up to you and your sparkle preferences. Personally, we can't wait to get decked out like christmas trees and get our sparkle on - oh yes, we went there.

We don't want to make excuses... however... due to heavy work loads at university the blog has most definitely been neglected. To make up for our absence recently, we've decided to upload a new blog post everyday for the next 12 days until christmas! We realise it's going to be a challenge however it's also a really exciting way to experiment with new blog post ideas and to have a little fun during this festive period!
